Admitted to the California Bar in 1997, Andréa is admitted to practice before all California State courts, the United States District Courts and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Andréa exclusively represents children with disabilities, their families and teachers/whistleblowers when advocating for children. Her practice includes working closely with therapeutic professionals (board certified behavior analysts "BCBA," speech pathologists, occupational therapists, child-psychologists, psychiatrists and neurologists, etc.) to identify her client's unique needs, determine appropriate interventions for each unique child, and advocate and/or litigate to see those needs are met. Since 2000, this practice has necessarily included parent education and an expanded knowledge of how interventions can be implemented in educational settings. Andréa has taken cases through mediation, Due Process hearings, and on to the federal courts, and 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Andréa has extensive experience and knowledge in many areas of challenge children face, including, among others, those involving Attention Deficit Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Autism-Spectrum Disorders and/or Mental Health needs.
